Website Terms & Conditions
We accept payment for our retreats in 2 ways - bank transfer or over the phone using all major debit or credit cards. When you call our information line you will be asked to select your payment option. Please note, your booking is unconfirmed until the full payment has been received. We aim to honour provision bookings for a limited period of time; however, due to the popular nature of the detox weeks we regret that it is not always possible. It is the responsibility of the client to let us know of any delays in receipt of documents or payments. Bookings are taken on a first come first serve basis. It is advisable to book early, as retreats are popular.
If you wish to pay by bank transfer please state this as part of your booking.

Medical Policy
At Chrysalis Health the well-being of our clients is our utmost priority. For this reason we have established a medical policy outlining what are safety guidelines in regards to health requirements to successfully complete our detox programme.
If you are under 18 years of age, have type I or type II diabetes, are on any medications or have any mobility conditions (i.e. you need the use of a wheelchair, crutches, etc.) then please see below for specific details:
Age
16 years of age is our minimum requirement. If you are under the age of 18 then a parent or guardian will need to book on the retreat with you.
Diabetes
If you have type I diabetes then it is our policy to not administer detox for those individuals. This is due to the insulin dependent nature of type I diabetes and the management of a person’s blood sugar falls out with the scope of our retreats. Those with type II diabetes may be able to come, depending on their specific situation (whether they are insulin dependent or not, how sensitive their blood sugar is, etc.). Those with type II will need to speak with one of our Nutritionists so that we can assess their situation and make a decision based upon individual needs.
Mobility
For those whose mobility is wheelchair dependent or who require the use of crutches or any form of supporting device, we will need to speak with them individually in order to assess whether we can accommodate them on a detox programme. Whilst we welcome all people regardless of their personal situation, we do wish to validate whether we can deliver an effective detox. Please do contact us so that we can discuss your personal needs and to see if our retreats are right for you.
Medication and Current Treatment
You must specify any existing medication or current health treatment you are undergoing on your booking form. Those people who are taking medication(s) are welcome on our retreats so long as they understand that they are not to stop taking their medication for the course of the detox programme. People who are on medication need to let our Nutritionists be aware of their exact circumstance. Please note, we often find a reduced need for medication, or even a cease to the requirement of medication after a detox retreat, but this needs to be assessed by your primary health care provider upon your return.
If you have any concerns that are not covered by our medical policy then please do contact us to discuss them.
We reserve the right to refuse a detox client before or during a detox should our medical policy be breeched.
