She is a new addition to the Chrysalis team where her depth of expertise and approachable manner have made her a great asset to the 'mind Detox' aspect of retreats. 2008 sees the introduction of her hypnotic dance workshops – a lot of fun! She works privately treating a wide variety of presenting conditions and also works as part of an integrative medical team.

Sjanie is an international lecturer at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH) and has developed an 'Advanced training course in fertility and hypnosis', which she teaches throughout the UK. Sjanie is particularly interested in the healing affects of dance and movement and has done personal study with the School of Movement Medicine.

As the managing editor for the European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis, she is particularly interested in research that shows the effectiveness of mind/body approaches to increase fertility. She is currently in the process of writing a fertility textbook for hypnotherapists, which will outline her approach and use research to underpin its effectiveness.

Sjanie is a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis.The BSCH is a body whose aim is to assure high standards in the profession of hypnotherapy. Membership demands high standards of training and ethical practice.
